The live state of the boathouse: which boats are out, the crew in each one, how long they have been gone, and a flag on any crew past the time it was due back. Checking a boat out takes a few taps at the dock, and that is the logbook entry, written and timed for you.

Coaches see the whole club at once, athletes see their own outing and their own boat. Nothing has to be copied into a book afterwards, and nothing depends on remembering to.

A full record of the fleet: class, brand, rigger type, preferred crew weight, what each hull can be converted to, and the rig it is standing at right now, with the crews, changes and repairs behind it.

The list answers what usually costs a phone call. What the club owns, what is free today, what is out of service, and when each boat was last rigged and by whom.

Every oar and every set, with length, inboard, stiffness, blade and brand, who has it at the moment and which boat it is used on. Sets can be built per boat or per crew, and each oar keeps its own history and its own repair record.

That history is what makes a first setup for a new rower an informed decision rather than a guess, and it tells you which oars are free before you walk down to the rack.

Trailers are configured once by rows and columns, then each regatta gets its own loading plan, with boats assigned to positions, an eight split into its two sections, and a symmetrical arrangement suggested for you if you want one.

The plan and the equipment checklist are ready before the loading starts, so everyone who turns up on the night is working from the same picture.

Drag names from the squad into seats, swap them between boats, and watch the crew averages move as you do it, 2k, height and weight to start with and any other number on the athlete card if you want it. The list of names can be narrowed to who is actually available, by a range on any of those numbers, or with the injury prone hidden.

An assistant that answers in plain language from your club’s own records, covering rigging, crews, equipment and history, and shows what it based the answer on. It does not answer from the internet, and it does not invent numbers.

Useful when the question is specific to your boathouse. What a crew was rigged at last season, which boats have not been touched since April, what a rower of this size has rowed on before.

One record per rower: age category, height and weight, body proportions, range of motion, ergo times, boot settings, and the boat and oars they are currently in. Athletes fill in and maintain their own profiles, so the data arrives without a coach typing it.

The record follows the rower through the club, which turns a handover between coaches, or between squads at the start of a season, into simply opening the app.

A lane per crew, each with its own clock, its own splits and its own stroke rate, tapped in at the catch and averaged over the last few strokes. Set a target rate and the difference from it sits beside the live number. Lay the piece out beforehand, five by two minutes on one minute rest, and the reps and the rest are counted down for you.

Elapsed time is read from the clock on the wall, not from a counter, so a phone that sleeps in your pocket while you watch your crew comes back with the right time on it. Attach a lane to an outing and the finished piece, every tap and every split, is filed against it.

Anyone in the club can report damage from their phone, with a photo, a short description, a severity and a repair deadline, and it lands on the boatman’s list. The boat or oar stays flagged everywhere it appears until the repair is closed.

Coaches know what is out of service before they plan a session, the boatman works from one list instead of hearsay, and the club keeps a record of what was repaired and when.

Sessions, crews and repairs are all kept and filterable by date, boat, oars or athlete, including how a boat was rigged for a given crew on a given day. Nothing is deleted, only archived.

Club property tracked beside the boats: ergs, launches, trailers, tools and anything else worth an entry, with purchase dates, values, condition, notes and technical control deadlines.

It doubles as an inventory for the board or an insurer, and it flags what is coming due before the deadline rather than after it.
